The
changes taking place around us are rapid, dynamic and mind-boggling.
We need to update and re-skill ourselves. We need to keep
in touch. We need to communicate. If, we do not act fast,
our rich social, cultural and religios roots would be permanently
destroyed and our identity wiped out. While we the Gujaratis
do not wish to remain "island" in the changing world's,
we belive that it is through strengthening our cohesiveness
based on the noble and universal thoughts as enunciated by
our forefathers, that we can integrate thoughts as Gujaratis
with the world at large.
The advent of internet has given us a wonderful opportunity
to connect ourselves quickly. With this in mind, the Gujarati
Association of Wilayah Persekutuan & Selangor has taken
this historic step to launch its website. We hope this website
would be a new beginning for Gujaratis in Kuala Lumpur &
Selangor and Malaysia to communicate more effectively and
regularly with likeminded Gujaratis throughout the world.
Warmest regards. Best wishes.
